PTA Message

Dear Mills Families,

We managed to get through the first full week of this semester and have gotten back into their school routines. Our PTA Membership drive has slowed down but it is never too late to join. With that being said, let’s give a huge shout-out to our PTA Membership Chair, Jenny Chang, for her recruitment efforts this past fall and to the 420 members who joined. Mills PTA received several awards this fall from Texas PTA: Head Start, Early Bird Achievement and Fall Membership Increase Awards. Not only did Mills PTA Membership reach 75% and then 100% of last year’s total membership (332) by the end of September, our Community stepped up to support our PTA soaring to over 400 before Halloween. We understand the power of membership for Mills which puts us in the top 32% of PTAs from across the state. Bravo!

A portion of the annual PTA membership dues supports programs and service projects so that the Mills community may come together and enjoy events without any costs to you.
