OUR GOAL:
To give the K-2 struggling readers pre-reading and reading practice in a positive way, to provide encouragement, and to increase students' self-esteem and love of learning!

WHAT:
The Roaring Readers Team is an all-volunteer program that helps kindergarteners, 1st graders and 2nd graders practice their pre-reading and reading skills. We provide volunteer training, guided curriculum and all materials.
WHO:
Work with a small group of children (no larger than 4) who are identified by their teacher as needing a little extra help learning to read.
WHEN:
The time commitment is only 30 minutes, once a week. You may volunteer for one session or multiple sessions depending upon your interest &/or availability.
